Hurlstone Agricultural High School commemorated Remembrance Day with an at-school Digital Service conducted by students from the Modern History class with assistance from HSIE teacher Ryan Mackinder. Meanwhile, the Head Teacher of HSIE, Sam Cavallaro, accompanied the School Captains (Venni Baliyan and Noah Simpson) to Ingleburn RSL to lay a wreath at their Remembrance Day service.
Venni and Noah represented the school with pride, and the Digital Service at school, conducted by Lucy Colville, Rupert Fuelling, and Hiya Shah, was a great example of a professional student-led initiative where students demonstrated their skills outside of the classroom.
Overall, the events were both a success and further cemented the clear connections between Hurlstone Agricultural High School and the community while meaningfully commemorating the past.
