Our Staff

At Hurlstone Agricultural High School, our staff are dedicated to excellence in teaching, care, and leadership across school, farm, and boarding life. We work together to create a supportive and high-expectation environment where every student is challenged, cared for, and equipped to succeed.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Hurlstone Agricultural High School. As Principal, I am honoured to lead a school with a proud history and an exciting future. Hurlstone is more than a place of learning. It is a community shaped by high expectations, explicit teaching, and genuine care.

Students from across New South Wales join us to pursue academic excellence, world-class agricultural learning, and (for many from regional and remote areas) the unique experience of modern boarding life. Here, potential becomes talent, effort is rewarded, and every student is encouraged to aim high.

What makes Hurlstone special is the spirit of our students: Their curiosity, resilience, and drive to succeed. I invite you to explore our website to discover what makes Hurlstone extraordinary, and I look forward to welcoming you into our school, our farm, and our home.

Mrs Christine Castle, Principal of Hurlstone Agricultural High School
