Hurlstone celebrated student success at the Creative and Performing Arts Presentation Night on Friday 22 February 2019
Over 200 students were recognised for their outstanding contribution to the creative and performing arts. Students in elective music classes presented performances and the schools orchestra finished the night with a great performance.
The perpetual awards were the pinnacle of the evening with Catherine Rong taking out the Outstanding Performance Award, Nicole Alcantara winning the Elizabeth Oldham Award for Vocal Excellence, Aivy Tran receiving the Cross Curricular Achievement in Creative and Performing Arts and Abby Jordan receiving the Outstanding Achievement in the Performing Arts: Composition award and the Year 12 Performing Arts Award.
The elective Visual Arts classes presented their works for display prior to the start of the night.
We would like to thank the students and parents for supporting the Creative and Performing Arts faculty in 2018 and we look forward to an exciting 2019.
